Thanksgiving proceeds from a grateful heart when God does anything for the person whether great or small. So, it was not surprising when Prophetess Adaobi Ojiakor (Nnukwu Ezenwanyi I of Alimosho) and the only Spiritual Mother of Ohanaeze Ndigbo World Wide on 7th October, 2023 celebrated her recovery from illness with thanksgiving to appreciate God.
The event took place at the Divine Shepherd Deliverance and Prayer Ministry, located at 9B, Elder Michael Ajayi Street, Off Isuti Road, Egan – Igandu Lagos and was attended by family and friends.
The Unique Model Magazine who was there to cover the event spoke to some of the people in attendance about the event and reports:
Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene Eulogizes Prophetess Adaobi on her thanksgiving celebration
The Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos State president, Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, (Udochia) a great light in the progress of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos came in the company of his team to celebrate with Prophetess Adaobi.
Recall that Chief Aguene conferred Prophetess Adaobi the title of Spiritual Mother of Ohanaeze World Wide, because of her value and immense contributions to the apex socio-cultural group.
To underscore the significance of the title, she is the only person with such title, and ever since the title was conferred on her, she has been performing credibly well to justify it.
Chief Aguene described her as a supporter of the growth of Ohaneze Ndi Igbo Lagos, because whenever her assistance is needed especially in organizing meetings, she always supports and promptly too.
Apart from that, she prays for the progress of the members. Chief Aguene prayed God Almighty to continue to protect her, bless her with more wisdom to pilot her ministry.
He future prayed that her ministry would continue to wax stronger, and grow from strength to strength to glorify the goodness of God, adding that Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo is happy that she came back from the surgery alive.
“We thank God for her, and that is why we came to celebrate with her,” he added.
The publisher of the Unique Model Magazine, Mr. Felix Mbata used the occasion to present the “Strong Pillar of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos”, award under the leadership of High Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, in recognition of her immense contributions towards the development of Ohanaeze Ndi Lagos.

Please, introduce yourself.
My name is Mr. Sunday Onuh, I am part of the organisers of today’s event for Ezenwanyi I of Alimosho. We are here to thank God for a successful surgery that she undertook, so today is the best day we devoted to thank God for keeping her alive. And we give God all the glory and pray to God to give her more life and more blessings.
What is your relationship with her?
Well, the prophetess has been a very big mother to me, in terms of prayer supports and advice; she has been a good mother to all the members of the church, Divine Shepherd Deliverance and Prayer Ministry. I can say since I have known her as a mother, she has been a wonderful mother to me and my family and that is why we are here together once again to celebrate and thank God.
From your explanation you’re a member of the ministry, how long have you been a member and why continuing with the church?
Well, the reason why I have been a member of the ministry is because no one finds good and go out because the ministry has sown a seed in my life, I have received different miracles from this ministry, and other members can still testify to the glory of God about what God is doing through her. I personally have received different miracles from this ministry, apart from her spiritual prowess, people come here and within a short time, they begin to experience financial breakthrough in business, after praying for them and their business picks up and lots of miracles have been done through her.
So, I have spent more than two years in this ministry and the years have been fantastic in my life.
What is your advice to those that have not received their miracles yet?
My advice to them is that all of us are not in the same category. And everybody knows where he/she is coming from. Whenever you come to a place and embrace good, you must attach to it. And my advice to them is that those who are willing to follow God in truth and in spirit, God will do their miracles at the appointed time. Most prayers take time to manifest; God will do whatever you request from him.
I am a living example as one of the beneficiaries of miracles from this ministry. So God has given me a fantastic life in this ministry and that is why I advise every one of us that have been following her willingly, will also receive blessing from God through her.
You can see multitude that came here to celebrate with prophetess Adaobi, signifying that she is a good prophetess, what is your word of appreciation to them being a member of the ministry?
Well, what I will say in this issue is that, I will not say someone’s mind, but no one finds good place and stays back in Egypt. My appreciation word upon the congregation is that, as they came to celebrate Prophetess, they will find good thing from God.

Thank you so much, my names are Chief (Dr.) Okechukwu Uzuegbunam I am the chairman of Igbo Speaking Community in Ikotun Egandu Local Government Area here in Lagos. So I am more or less the host chairman of this occasion, thank you.
How can you describe the celebrant and the celebration of today?
She is incomparable Prophetess, like we call her Nnukwu Ezenwanyi I of Alimosho, we use to have Eze Nwanyi here and there, but her own is unique, her own is quite different, and that is why we gave her the title as Nneukwu Eze Nwanyi, she is a wonderful person, a prophetess, a woman of God, who has saved so many souls, who has done so many great things in the community, Lagos State and beyond, she loves putting smiles on faces of people, especially less privileged.
Also, she is a Spiritual Mother to Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo World Wide, she is someone we have regards for and that is why we have gathered here today to celebrate her.
What is the key reason of the celebration?
Well, the purpose of today’s gathering is for us to thank God because our mother, grand matron, and Nnukwu Eze Nwanyi had undergone a very serious illness which had to do with surgery. So it was so deep in a way that it was just God that revived her, only God that gave her another chance to live. And being a wonderful person to us, that is why we gather here today to thank God for sparing her life. So we are here to celebrate her because she deserves our celebration. We also pray that God will continue to empower her in doing the good things she is doing.
With all these her qualities what is your advice to her?
My advice to her is that she should not relent irrespective of the challenges, because when you become a figure there will also be challenge here and there. So our advice is that she should keep it up. She should not be weary because of challenges here and there and others, it’s true that devil must try his best but when grace is upon someone, he / she must prevail.

Madam, we spotted you at Women Canopy, can your introduce yourself?
I am Dr. Hon. Mrs. Vivian Sunshine Obi, Ugoeze Obi Chiora, Nwayi Chinawaraoji na Lagos State, Ohanaeze Political Women Forum leader, Lagos State.
What attracted your presence on this occasion?
I am here especially for our Spiritual Mother, a mentor, a philanthropist, a woman who has gone far and wide to ensure an improvement in the situation of Ndigbo. Prophetess Ojiakor, Nnukwu Eze Nwayi and the Spiritual Mother of Ohanaeze World Wide is a good woman. I am here to felicitate, to support her, and also to congratulate her on a successful surgery, it is not easy to go through the knife, and come back, especially with the kind of illness, it’s only Divine intervention that brought her back to life. So we are here to felicitate, and to celebrate our mother.
Looking at her contributions as you mentioned, what advice do you have for her?
My advice for her is not to relent on her activities for humanity, she should continue making sure that she continues her good life, according to God’s blessings upon her, because all what she has been doing, touching lives had made her because God loves a cheerful giver.

Sir, you preached at the thanksgiving service of Prophets Adaobi Favour, can you introduce yourself?
My name is Bishop Saint Oyebuchi Don, I have a ministry, Salvation Household of God International Ministry, I came from Nnewi, in Anambra State, it’s a pleasure being with prophetess so far. I came to celebrate with her and preach, because it’s good to celebrate life and thank God. I pray that everybody that come here today, that they will meet their people in peace.
As an Igbo man and man of God, how do you rate the gathering of Ohanaeze in this occasion?
I thank Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, peace and progress will be upon everybody, since we have Ohanaeze Ndi in Lagos state, I thank God for that, it is a group that will make us to understand ourselves more and ensure that we unify ourselves and God will give us the wisdom, favour and long life.
How can you describe Prophets Adaobi Favour?
She is a good woman, a giver, she loves helping people, in fact, helping people are her hubby, if she doesn’t help people she will not be happy. She is someone that one can approach for help and she will render it. She likes gathering people, to celebrate, and bless them. And the gift of God upon her life is increasing, she is using it to save souls, she is a nice woman.
With your observation on her thanksgiving and how people came to celebrate with her what’s your advice?
To me, I am thanking God for her life, for giving her life back, God is great and it’s a testimony to all of us, because prayer for one person is for all, I believe that God has restored her life back, God will help us not to experience such a thing in our life in Jesus Christ mighty power.
What is your advice to the members of the ministry?
The members should stay with her, because she is a person that God has blessed that people should follow, she is a genuine person and I believe that any person following her will succeed. I pray God to bless her with more wisdom to continue leading people, because it is not easy to lead congregation. We have different kinds of people in the congregation. May God continue to give her more wisdom in Jesus name.
Today, we have fake prophets and prophetess, what is your advice to the fake prophets and prophetess?
Jesus Christ said, I know my sheep, and they know me, and by their fruits you shall know them. She is one of the called and genuine prophetess, I call her talk and do, as she talks, it happens same way. For the fake, what I can say is that the God name they use in vain, God will disgrace them one day.
