“We that are promoted are more than ever before ready to ensure that we will deliver on his mandate. We came here with various degrees of experience and knowledge and by the time we are leaving here, we should be  loaded with additional knowledge and experiences, be that as it should  be, experience is different from knowledge, so we shall bring our experience to bear on our mandate, all the course outlines, all the resource persons that we engaged yesterday, were so resourceful and interesting, a beautiful day,  but today, the Comptroller General has further broadened our horizon. Things that are hidden he brought them out, we are happy for that, and we assure him that by the grace of God, we are going to do our best to ensure that the mandate to Nigerian Customs Service is achieved.

“Comptroller General of Customs is on the right policy as an insider that understands completely what Customs is all about. His three point agenda, Consolidation, Collaboration and Innovation.

“That Consolidation, others will come and start afresh, he is not starting afresh, immediately he came on board, he set the ball rolling. So we are on the same page with him. The promotion comes with additional responsibility, we are not running away from that fact that is why, I mentioned it, if we were to measure all mode the new comptrollers undergoing this retreat, you will see that we have been reinvigorated, and revitalized and we are so young and youthful  and ready to proceed on new assignment.

In his speech with TVC , he emphasized more on the three point agenda of Consolidation, Collaboration and Innovation, stating that more than  70% of the already target of the  Nigerian Customs Service is gotten from  Lagos Zone.
