Family And Friends Celebrate Eze Chika Nwokedi At 51

Family, friends and associates gathered on Friday 4th August at the Palace of Eze C.C.Nwokedi, Eze Ndigbo of Ijegun/Ijedodo communities to thank God for his goodness in his life as he clocked 51 years.

In his opening remark, the celebrant, expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and sound health and soundness of mind, adding that he always celebrates his birthday because it is always a day to be thankful to God.

He extended his gratitude to the guests for making out time to attend his birthday celebration, noting that, “He who is dead has no opportunity to thank God for life and as such, celebrating a special day such as this creates more hope for greater things to happen as the year goes by”.

He disclosed that he would be celebrating his 2023 New Yam festival in September during which he would also empower 170 widows and other less privileged persons as he had done in the past.

On her part, wife of the celebrant, Queen (Pastor) Tessy Nwokedi, thanked God over her husband’s life and explained that the significance of the yearly observed Eze Nwokedi’s birthday celebration was to thank God for a life of fulfillment.

The woman of God described her husband as a man of the people and that his royal commitment to serve the people earned him a general acceptance in the community even before he was installed as a royal father.

Queen Nwokedi further explained that his magnanimous act has continued to increase over the years as he makes it a point of duty to bless the widows and the less privileged even beyond his jurisdiction of rule.

“His act of magnanimity cannot be quantified; he is a peace maker, a disciplined husband, a man of the people and a royal father of wisdom,” she said.

Also speaking, a clergy man, Bishop Anene Nwachukwu, the General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance Mission who was the Special Guest at the occasion, described Eze Nwokedi as an amiable royal father, who always shows concern in the plight of other people and tries to proffer solution irrespective of tribe or religion.

The clergyman noted that Eze Nwokedi has touched many lives in great measures and derives joy in doing so and encouraged all to emulate him.

Similarly, the legal adviser of the palace, Chief Ifeanyi Ene, described Eze Nwokedi as a man of peace and transparency, a detribalized Nigerian with a touch of class and intelligence, which has helped him in carrying out his royal duties without a fuss.

Chief V.C. Uzoh also expressed his profound wishes for the celebrant and described him as a brother with a large heart who exhibits unique leadership qualities that stands him out amongst his peers and wished him long life and sound health.

The event was attended by many dignitaries and royalties including Chief & Lolo V.C Uzoh, Bishop Anene Nwachukwu (the General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance Mission) and Cabinet Chiefs of his Palace among others.
