The leader of INRI Evangelical Church, Primate Ayodele Elijah, has once again, proven that he is not only blessed with the gift of accurate prophecy that has taken him globally, he has always demonstrated practical Christianity as shown by Christ.
On his 64th birthday recently, he brought succour to a number of families with food stuffs and other items in this period of food crisis in the country.
He said the program was in appreciation of God’s faithfulness in his life and ministry. Part of the activities for the program was a visit to the old people’s home, and aging women who needs medical attention and house rents, which he paid. He also paid hospitals bills for some who could not pay.
He also unveiled plans to build a mosque which will encourage religious tolerance, health Centre and bakery where bread would sold at an affordable price to cushion the effect of the current hardship. He told journalists that he is inspired by the desire to have his reward by heaven instead of national award..
This year, he introduced what he called” Let the poor breathe” mini market, or palliative mini market to tell the federal and the state governments to set up such markets to relive the pain of the harsh economy on the people. At he market, a bag of rice that costs 70k was sold for 20k, three big tubbers of yam for 1,500 naira, a carton of indomie for 3k etc.
He also gave out 5 cars to some people including a journalist Mr. Wale Lawal, the editor of city people magazine, and to some church members who have been working with him.
The car particulars and the keys were equally handed over to the beneficiaries who could not hide their joy.
The occasion was graced by important prophets from far and wide. The youths movement for change from Ejigbo, presented the man of God a recognition frame of his image, 30 year’s in ministries.
The widows were recognised by Mr. Okpala. INRI Adults schools guaranteed, the special people from Dynamics praise singing praises to the most high God in an excellent way to which people danced and appreciated God, and from his kindness, he announced a donation of N1m to enable them wax their songs and promised to do more for them,.
The gospel twins were not left out, singers that are called Adegbodu Twins with their melodious praises were also present. The day was filled with lots of activities.
