The Commissioner of Police Lagos State Command Adegoke Fayoade has effected some changes in the leadership of certain units of the Command, with the Chairman of the Lagos State Taskforce on Environmental and Special Offences CSP Shola Jeleloye deployed as Commander of the Rapid Respond Squad (RRS).
In the same vein, the State Government has approved the appointment of CSP Adetayo Akerele as his replacement.
Until the new appointment, CSP Akerele, a seasoned administrator and a super cop, was the former BRT Lane Monitoring and Enforcement Commander.
He had formally served in the Taskforce in various capacities and the Officer in-Charge of Enforcement before his posting to the BRT Lane Monitoring Unit.
Other transfers in the mini shake-up saw the immediate past Commander of Lagos RRS CSP Saheed Egbeyemi being redeployed to DFA, SP Ndufiok Emmanuel from DFA to 2 I/C Gender SHQ, ASP Oladiti Ayodeji from DFA to CP TT Adamo Ikorodu, and W/Inspr Ekong Carol from SCID Panti Yaba to Elomoro Division.
It was gathered that all the transferred officers involved in the shake-up are to resume immediately at their new duty posts, as the posting takes immediate effect.
