Eze Ndigbo Bags Award of “Royal Guardiance for Peace in Nigeria”

In a ceremony marking the end of the year, HRM Eze Amb. Emmanuel U. Oparachukwu, Ezeudo I of Ndigbo Agbado-Oke Ode LCDA, Alimosho Local Government Area, was honored with the prestigious “AWARD FOR ROYAL GUARDIANCE FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA” by the Searchlight Intelligence Community. This award recognizes his outstanding contributions to promoting peace and security in his community.

HRM Eze Amb. Emmanuel U. Oparachukwu was drawn to the Searchlight Intelligence Community program due to its focus on security, an issue he takes very seriously as a king. He believes that without security, there can be no peace, and subsequently, no development or progress.

As a dignitary honored with this award, HRM Eze Amb. Emmanuel U. Oparachukwu feels spurred to do more work in securing lives and properties within his community. This award, he says, will encourage him to focus more on security, building on his past experiences and achievements.

HRM Eze Amb. Emmanuel U. Oparachukwu enjoys cordial relationships with other traditional rulers, Oba of Meiran, Seriki, and other traditional leaders. These relationships have facilitated peaceful resolutions to issues between Igbo and Yoruba communities.

In his words of appreciation to the organization, HRM Eze Amb. Emmanuel U. Oparachukwu encourages the Searchlight Intelligence Community to continue their anti-crime work, emphasizing the importance of security in Nigeria’s existence. To the youths in his community, he stresses the need for everyone to be security-conscious, urging them to report suspicious activities to law enforcement agents.

The ceremony, which took place on December 31st, 2024, was attended by distinguished guests, including SP Elsarazik Ajuji, representing the Assistant Inspector General of Police Zone 2, AIG Adegoke Mustapha Fayode, SP Abiola Akintunde DCO, representing the Divisional Police Officer, and other notable traditional leaders, such as Prince Ogunmodede Akinloye, Director General of Searchlight Intelligence Community.
