Triple chief Omemma Bonocks Onuoha, the Chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo, Lagos state, who believes in the leadership of High Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene of Ohanaeze Ndigbo and wishes that he should remain focused on the things he had been doing. He also described Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu as a great friend of Ndigbo. He spoke to Felix Mbata, publisher of The Unique Model Magazine.

Can you introduce yourself?
I am Triple chief Omemma Bonocks Onuoha, the Chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo, Lagos state.
How did you emerge as the chairman of Ohanaeze, Agbado-Oke Odo, Lagos state?
After the election in Lagos state for all the Local Government by his grace, I emerged as the chairman of Agbado-Oke Odo, Lagos state. It was through election that I was selected as the winner of the election.
When did your tenure start, have you done a new thing since you emerged as chairman, if not what is your plan?
You know before I came in as the chairman, Agbado-Oke Odo, Ndi Igbo did not attend meetings, but since I emerged as chairman, I had already unified everybody, so if you come to our meeting now, you will know that Ndi Igbo are many in Agbado-Oke Odo, through the attendance of the meeting.
As for my future plans, this month is exactly one year and one month, I emerged as chairman, and I promised that before I leave, I will ensure that I buy them a land where we will build our secretariat in Agbado-Oke Odo, and by his grace we are planning towards it.
High Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene is the president of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo Lagos state, how do you see his performance?
High Chief Aguene, the president of Ohanaeze Ndi Igbo, Lagos state, my brother, let me tell you the truth, his performance is 200 percent, above our expectations. President Aguene is a wonderful man, he knows how to coordinate, he knows how to manage people, he knows how to talk and how to make things happen, Aguene, as long as Lagos state is concern, he is our president and he will continue to be our president.
How do you rate the performance of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu?
Sanwo-Olu is the friend of the Igbos, you know he loves the Igbos, and the Igbos love him too. That he won an election again is not a surprise to us because all of us worked it together to ensure that he wins the election. So him being there is like the Igbos are still there, because himself loves the Igbos and he is making everything possible to make sure the Igbo didn’t lack anything in Lagos state. So, Sanwo-Olu being there, we know that every other tribe not the Igbos will benefit from him. We are living together in Lagos state.
With the ground Solomon is breaking in Lagos state for Ndi Igbo, what is your advice to him?
My advice to him is to continue doing very good, let him not listen to left or right to people because we have so many sycophants and many deceivers, who will see good things coming and they will destroy it. Let him focus on the exact thing he was doing, because that same Solomon in the Bible is the same Solomon character he is exhibiting.
